Live Gold membership 1 month never ending trial
 

Hi,

got my xbox 2 months ago, still going on the months free trial!

it says signed in to gold, but i got an email to say my trial was over and i would be downgraded to solver membership

anyone have any ideas?

I didn't do anything, it just happened. They did unban me though, so if I was you I'd phone them up to be on the safe side.

they cant ban users for something wrong at their end, and I refuse to pay 50p per minute or more to tell them that they are giving me a premium service for free. they can either find out themselves, or continue giving me live for free. i not being an arse about it, but iv given my opinion. as soon as i get put onto silver membership, I have a 12 month gold card waiting.

I believe cimt was making a point that he was banned. Possibly due to the Xbox live servers detecting that he was using Gold facilities on an account that should have only given access to Silver. MS would assume that this is an attempt to defraud the system, and ban the account. In his case, they admitted the mistake and unbanned him. In yours, they may not be so ready to do so.

IIRC, when they ban any account, they tend to lock out any Xbox(es) connected to that account.

they are brutal when it comes to banning and refund policy. All DLC is non refundable and anyone banned usually gets the console banned as well, sometimes the gamertag also gets banned from achievements also.

it ended up saying "your subscription had run out", 3 weeks after they sent the email. se I got 1 month and 3 weeks out of my months free trial. not bad
