A VERY Nooby Question
Ok simple question here, and very nooby.
If i am on a wired connection via ethernet to my console, does port forwarding do anything? Or is port forwarding just for wireless? Thanks. |
Re: A VERY Nooby Question
no mate its used to control access to your PC. You can set port access for certain applications, for example gaming servers, allowing the connection to and from your PC..
As I understand it anyway .. |

Re: A VERY Nooby Question
Makes no difference what connection method.
Well it shouldn't, though with the superhub being "special" who knows? But with any normal router, you forward a port to an ip address and that's it, the device shouldn't care about how that device is connected. |
Re: A VERY Nooby Question
Yeah, but that's "special" as in "special school". ;)
