wireless pci card issue

hope someone can help with this little issue i'm having .I have just bought a Addon NWP210 300MPS NETWORK lan card from novatech .I have installed the drivers and the utility in windows 7 that came with the card but i cannot get any internet connection ,it will connect to the router intermitently .I did notice that the drivers are not signed and seem to remember reading that this can be an issue with windows 7 (is this correct)i have downloaded drivers from Addons site but still no joy
any advice any one

forgot to mention that it is W7 64 and yes i have installed the 64 bit drivers

Win7 64bit required certified Microsoft drivers. They may be certifiied, but if Microsoft haven't certified them then they won't work with a 64 bit OS.

Thanks for the response . I thought that may be the case ,i get a warning when instaling which gives me a choice to either not install or continue anyway .I'm probably going to send it back and get a different card

Had to sort a similar issue for a client recently.
This one works 100% with Win7-64

I've seen that before yet the drivers still worked, not sure if that means they haven't been signed or that they've been signed by a reconised vendor but not verified as compatible. :erm:

Can you switch the control of the wireless back to windows, I often find windows built in wireless configuration utility to be better than some of the manufacturer provided ones.

I'd definitely go with that Cisco card. Read the comments on the eBuyer site and you'll see how many people have had problems with different cards.

It worked straight out of the box for me and gave me a solid connection to both home networks.
