on demand is hit and miss
 
The on demand has only worked twice in the last 3 weeks, keep getting the error code 1051/connection problem. Have tried switching the STB off and unplugging and leaving disconnected for a period of time, have left it overnight and it makes no difference. The STB is an old pace unit, i think we have had this box over 10 years now.

I would call up and tell them the error message on screen which it does tell you to do, and you may end with an engineer and a new box.

Yeah, sounds like the box is on it's way out. As Masque says, call Support :)
