Virgin Mobile - 1st bill?
 

Hey all, I used to be with Orange but recently switched to Virgin Mobile as they offered me a brilliant deal I couldn't refuse!

Keep checking on line about my first bill but still nothing does anyone know how they work it out so i have a rough estimate of what it should be my line rental is £20.53 per month, so is this possibly doubled for first bill?

Hi it will not show how much your first bill is until it is produced. Also in regards to working out four first bill due to the line rental is what i used to do when i worked for o2:
You will have one months full charge as you are charged in advance for line rental. Then a few days of partial charges for the line rental ( as it normally takes a few days for the first bill to be produced ). Hope this helps you?

It should not be that high, although it all depends on how much you have been calling, texting and using data in the first few days ( thats if you have not got the so called unlimited bundles )?

Umm I got 400mins and 'unlimited' texts how much unlimited with them is 5000 per month I believe, oh and I have 1Gb data per month, I think to date I've used about 10-12 minutes not much more so don't think thats a problem texts I have quite a bit but not as much as 100 or so so think im fine there. just the internet part worries me a little as I got a Blackberry I think that does eat it the usage? I have called c/s for them and they have advised that I am within my limits but said they don't know when the bill is due they said just wait for it... :)

Well looking at what you have posted about the usage you will be ok. In regards to the blackberry you will be ok as i have the Blackberry bold 9700 on orange with unlimited ( 500MB ) internet and emails and my usage comes in at about 30MB.

So you should be OK. The first bill is normally produced in-between normally 48 - 72 hours.

hmmmmmmmm well i am on o2 PAYG and for £15 a month i get..............
100 landline minutes, unlimted text's (12,000), 1000 minutes/texts to other o2 numbers of my choice and unlimited web

im with o2 and pay 20.00 payg and i get 1200.000 texts , 300 mins to call and 500mg
looking at virgin might be a better option

Good thing with pay monthly too you get a brand new phone, I got a Blackberry torch - love it!! :D
