Sky+ HD in 2 Rooms

Hi

My Sky+ HD box is currently in my living room but I wanted to watch it in my room too. Multiroom was out of the question, beacuse I want it to be HD and I'm not paying for a new box then the £10 odd for the service. Instead I decided to do it through a HDMI splitter, HDMI extender and two 30m Cat6 cables but I've run into some trouble.

This is the equipment I am using:
Splitter: HDMI Splitter 4 Port 1 Device To 4 TVs Powered Amplified UK PSU - HD-SP204 - Video Cables, HDMI Cables & Adapters, HDMI Switches & Splitters, HD-SP204 from kenable
Extender: HDMI Extender over Ethernet LAN Cable Cat5e up to 30m [HD-EX300] from Overclock.co.uk
Cat6 Cable: Xenta Cat6 Snagless UTP Patch Cable (Black) 30m | Ebuyer.com

I have wired it all in and my living room TV is working fine, but on my bedroom TV I am either getting "No Signal" or "Mode Not Supported"

I then tried it without the splitter but I just get the same. So that rules out the splitter not working. I then tried different HDMI cables to see if that was the problem, but still "No Signal".

So I suspect either the extender or the Cat6 cables.

Any Help?

Thanks

Re: Sky+ HD in 2 Rooms

Is your small TV possibly only 720p and not able to receive a 1080i signal?

Nope, it's a full 1080 tv.
