Picture delay

Just wandered onto an online stream for ESPN & then tuned in on my TV to find that the stream is about 10secs quicker! Is this likely to be just my box/location or is there a difference between VM & other providers? :dunce:

Yes, Virgin Media is about 10 seconds behind
I first noticed this when I accidently left the TV on in my bedroom (terestrial aerial) with the same channel showing

Had some fun with that though, managed to predict the last lottery number for some friends!

Satellite delay time, plus if you are watching an HD channel that usually lags behind the SD version as you can find out when watching a football match and you her the neighbours roar before you see the goal.
