V+HD Samsung Box Sound Problems on Recorded Programs
 

All of the recorded programmes have sound problems (IE stuttering, no audio at all ect.) however all live programmes are ok. VM just tell us to reboot and this doesn't fix the problem.

Have you tried reformatting the box? If you do this be aware you will lose all your recordings and planned programmes, but that may help.

Which style box do you have? I had a 4yo SA box which I replaced a month or so back due to sound/picture issues. The tech support on the phone said they could see that 2 of my tuners were showing as red. The tech who came to fix it just swapped the box out for a new Samsung as he said he'd seen a few of these lately so was easier to do a box swap.

Just rang up VM and they pushed a update to the box.
Btw how do you reformat. I haven't seen a option
