April 2011 Income Tax / NI Calculator

Re: April 2011 Income Tax / NI Calculator
According to that, looks like I'll be £96 better off next financial year...Although, it will probably be more than that as that calculator doesn't take into account recoups in mileage claims etc added to my pay.

Whatever the changes are no doubt the Government will find a way to take more off us (There's big committments to pay for)

£50 or so worse off.
Of course our pay and conditions are going to get ridiculously battered later this year (overtime at a lower rate of pay than you usually get anyone?) so £50 is very optimistic. |
Re: April 2011 Income Tax / NI Calculator
£624 worse off.

Re: April 2011 Income Tax / NI Calculator
Just dealing purely with the income tax side of things, obviously with inflation being so rampant even the BoE's rigged figures can't cover it up entirely things will be more painful than that headline figure suggests.

Re: April 2011 Income Tax / NI Calculator
A bit strange this ,i won't know exactly how much better or worse off i will be untill i do my tax return in april ,but i do expect to get a quite substantial refund simply because of the rise in material cost, fuel ,admin, waste disposal ect .Although my weekly cash income is down by a couple of hundred a week my allowable expenses have gone up so it's going to interesting to see the final figures

Re: April 2011 Income Tax / NI Calculator
Looks like if you put your current tax code in it uses that for next years calculation as well rather than the new 747L (probably obvious, but I messed it up first time!) So if you're on standard tax, leave it blank or if you do know your 2011/12 tax code, you can input it to see next years take home, but it will probably be incorrect for this year.
I am still £100 worse off a month though. With a wage freeze and inflation at 4%, considerably more. Abs |
