Is there any alternative to the superhub?

Does anyone know if there is a alternative to the super-hub..basically I wanted to use a DNS server and this box doesn't have the facility to update the DNS server with my current IP address.
In fact this box seems a step backwards as it doesn't support VPN's either.

Hi, no VM are using the Superhub for all installs, there will however be a software update to enable the superhub to act just like a modem so you can use your own router if you want.

No. Until bridge mode is released you can't properly use your own router either.

You can however try set up a double-NAT with DMZ, which could give you a workaround.

If you could do that I'd already have a VMNG300 modem, trust me.

VM told me if I downgrade to 20mb they will send a modem out so I can use my own router with it.

If you upgrade to 30Mb and receive a hub the is nothing that says you need to go wireless as you can just connect via ethernet as at present.

Thing is... me like most customers don't want ugly ethernet cables lying around the house. Besides, where my Hub is located, it wouldn't be ideal to have cables running through the living room, up the stairs and across the landing.

The reply was for Halcyon who wants ethernet, my Superhub is behind my monitor and hard wired.
