I got virgin broadband, phone and tv installed on dec 05 2010 for 23.00 amonth (plus extra blockin 4 mobile phones which makes it to 26.94) a month for the first six months and £35 ther after. When were getting it installed we were to pay £30 installion fee plus £30 but they said we would get that back.

I phoned virgin and asked them when I would be paying my first bill and they said the begining of January but that would only be £13.90 because i paid £30 upfront.

So that went out by direct debit and then when it got to febuary i phoned again to see when my payment of £26.94 was due. They said my account was up to date and wasnt ready to be paid yet and it also said this on my virginmedia account that everything was up to date.

A couple of days later i recieved a letter saying my bill was overdue £26.94 hasnt been paid.Therfore I've got £10 charge,so I called and explained and all of a sudden i owe £85 from dec n january.

I just dont get it, how do I complain and what should I do about it. I can't afford to pay the bill i understand they didnt recieve my payment of £26.94 but thats due to the fact they told me completey different dates its coming out.

does this sounds wrong? Virgin seems to me like its one big scam! the last time i was with virgin they told me my account blance was of 200! a couple of yrs ago i didnt pay it then i called a yr on to sort it then they told me it was only 35! it seem that if u get disconected then they sort the problem its stupid.
