How much?
 

I called VM today to take up the offer of 50MB for £5 pm and a free Superhub. The sales guy insisted that as I had a standing loyalty discount I would have to pay £6.50 pm.

I argued the toss as it stated in the documentation that I received from VM the offer was £5. He would not back down so I ordered the 30MB instead for £30 and no monthly charge.

Can anybody throw some light on this one?:confused:

Not too sure about this one, but as i read on other threads is if you upgrade your services you will lose the loyalty discount so this is what it could be. Not sure as i have said but someone will be along to put us straight on this.

The legal stuff

Payment: If you prefer not to pay by Direct Debit and/or want to receive a paper bill, the monthly price for your Virgin Phone line with these options is: phone line and non-Direct Debit payment handling: £17.99; phone line and paper bill: £14.49; phone line, non-Direct Debit payment handling and paper bill: £19.49 (£12.74 with mobile broadband paper bill). These prices include a £5 payment handling charge payable to Virgin Media Payments Ltd and/or a paper bill charge of £1.50 a month. Mobile paper bill charge of £1.50 may also apply. You must, at a minimum, take all services included in your bundle for your minimum contract term. If you change any part of your bundle, standard prices apply.

Service availability: Services available in Virgin Media cabled streets only. Subject to network capacity, minimum term contract applies, check basket for details. If you cancel during the minimum contract period you will incur an early disconnection fee.

I would think you must be getting loyalty discount of £1.50 off your bill.
