Sky+ HD from loft

I currenly have my Sky+ box in my loft. The box is connected to a quad splitter which takes the signal (via coaxial cable) to the rooms in the house. If I put a Sky HD box in the loft, can I easily feed the new HD cables in place of the coax?

What new HD cables? Unless you have a splitter that outputs from a single HDMI input to multiple HDMI outputs then you will still be outputting the SD signal via coax.

also i dont see why you have the receiver in the loft what if it were to crash for example are you gonna go into the lost to sort it out ? you would have to but its completely impractical & just making more work for yourself. plus a loft is dusty amongst other things so your risking giving your receiver a shorter lifespan
