speedtest is far better on ethernet than N wireless

I have noticed that speedtest is far better using superhub connected via ethernet and turn off wi-fi.

Via superhub wi-fi :

via ethernet (without wi-fi on):

It proves that the superhub wi-fi is rubbish as my laptop supports N wi-fi however I couldn't get more than 16Mbps. It was no problem on my old modem via netgear wireless router previously on 50 Meg.

That proves nothing really, where were you in releation to the superhub when you tested the wireless? Are you sure its on N when running the test?

I connect my laptop using wireless N and speed tests all come out pretty close to 50Mbs all the time.

Funny how all the wired speedtests are done on a different server to the wireless one.

No it is not!

It is merely the catalyst which allows something to become wet.:D:D:D

Look, I'll moan about the Super Hub dropping wireless connections until the ca$hcow comes home (judging from this thread it has, incidentally), but when it works and you're using an N device not too far from it you do get proper N speeds.

The speed test posted looks more like the result of a G device with less than optimum location, i.e. little bit too far from the access point, not N.
