Superhub > 2nd router?

I have the 30MB service, the wireless speed is a bit slower compared with the wdnr3700 in the same location. The wireless connection doesn't need anything special like open ports.

I am wondering do I need to disable DHCP in one of the routers? It would be advantageous if I could have both superhub and wdnr3700 wireless working as they are closer to 2 different labtops than 1 wireless on its own.

I want to do this:

but keep my pc on the superhub and not turn off the wireless of the superhub.

I haven't attempted this yet, I'll let u know how I get on.

You'll need to turn off DHCP on the WNDR3700. Then connect any LAN port on it to the LAN port on the Superhub and you will be able to use wireless on both devices.

Re: Superhub > 2nd router?

Cheers for the tips m8. Its working, although I have an dual n-band wdnr3700 it is connected via 54-g mode to an internal wifi laptop the wdna3100 n-band dongle is not loved. Its speed is 19-20Mb/s 2/3rds of what I get on a wired connection.

The other laptop is connected via wdna3100 usb dongle to the superhub and is getting 4.5Mb/s, I have tried 5Ghz, 2.4Ghz, in combinations with up to 300Mb/s and up to 144Mb/s. I'm not sure why this is so slow possibly because of the laptop. It was ridiculously slow with the virgin pc guard software, now its gone but its still slow, dual core 1Gb ram. Compaq evo n1015v http://techreport.com/articles.x/4672

I just updated the drivers from v1.7 to 3.0x for the wnda3100 and I got 6.4Mb/s / 1.00Mb/s.
