SyFy have announced that season 2 of V will be airing in March. Date to be confirmed.

In the meantime they're re-showing season 1. I'm happy because it means I get to watch it in HD this time. :)

I though Living TV (now Sky) had the rights to the new V?

It was being shown on Channel 1, but I think that was the FTA rights. SyFy have the first-run pay TV rights.

Series 2 starts next Thursday. Can't wait. :D

Well I finally managed to get around to watching series 2 and this morning I got through to the finale - so many possibilities left there, I cannot see why with good writing they couldn't take the next series really really far should they agree to a new one.

I know the remake was a bit disjointed from the original timeline but I much prefer this. We've had the "we're nice, really" visitors, clearly war is now about to begin.

The script would have to be just right though, they could easily botch up another run which is what I suspect the original network were thinking. Let's hope the writers can convince them otherwise :)
