Re: call plan
It has inbuilt FM radio as standard which is free to use as with most modern handsets and I see no reason why you cannot download the DAB digital radio app as it will access the radio for free as well and has no impact on your phone contract in any way.
Click the link and read the technical stuff and you will see FM radio listed. http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/viewH...ringId=5568094 |
Re: call plan

Re: call plan
No you can't as the Desire doesn't have the hardware in it to receive DAB

Re: call plan
Why give Virgin £20.00 a month for that when you can get better from Giffgaff for a tenner.

But I assume no free phone?
Virgin offer their customers exactly the same for £10.21 a month if you get SIMO tariff http://shop.virginmedia.com/existing...sim-offer.html |

Re: call plan
Fair enough. Glad you are happy with your choice of provider. As I am with mine :)
So can GiffGaff allow a Desire to recieve DAB radio, as that was what this thread was about? |

Re: call plan
You can probably download an internet radio app, which will use your internet quota.
Alternatively http://www.yourmuze.fm/welcome web app (used to be called Moodio.fm) which compresses streams further, to a format supported by many phones. |
