Downloading With Safari For Windows

Does anyone have a simple way of downloading videos from Youtube using Safari for Windows please?

I have seen various "solutions" but cannot get them to work.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.TIA.

Hi Scrubbs, thanks for that. I think it actually refers to the Apple Mac but I'll give it a try.

I know it doesn't really apply but, if you used firefox and download helper? maybe just for your "you tube" downloads??

Thanks for that however but I do have the latest version but just do not know the procedure for activating a download.

In Internet Explorer I have the Real Player plugin and in Firefox I use download helper but in Safari For Windows I just don't know how to get things started.

I have tried double-clicking the largest file in the activity window but all I get is a black window with sound and nothing appears in the downloads window.

It literally just works on my machine, it also works without any issue in my other browsers.

Have you tried it with another browser.

My other browsers download fine but at present I can't download in Safari For Windows and Opera even though I am supposed to be able to.

I could just download from my other browsers which indeed I do it's just that I'd like SFW and Opera working the way they are supposed to.

As I said mine works fine so it may be related to a firewall on the machine.
