blackberry 8520 and roaming

Hi I am going to spain in a couple of weeks and was wondering what roaming charges there would be for using the blackberry messenger service

Does the blackberry use the virgin mobile internet or its own network

saw this in the call price list

BlackBerry Web Access Use of BlackBerry email, BlackBerry messenger, BlackBerry Apps or Internet Browsing is included in the fair use allowance of 50MB per day. Any use above this limit will be charged at £2 per MB.

so What is the 1GB virgin mobile web allowance for?

thanks

Just received my blackberry today and it says on the outer sleeve.

"Going abroad?
if you want to check your emails while your away, remember that these aren't included in your monthly tariff. So if you don't want to be charged, make sure you switch off your Blackberry Mail before you travel"

All correct, So what the op should do is to call customer services and they will be able advise better. As all the network providers bundles do not work outside the UK ( but they may have roaming bundles to add for whilst your away ).

All data, calls ( making and receiving ) and texts ( making them not receiving them ) are not included in your allowance.

Hope this helps

PS the GB is for the use in the UK.
