Re: IE Question

Why not just install a more current browser?

Dude111 20-01-2011 16:28

Well i guess i really like IE6 Rob (It is the BEST version of IE as far as user ability, customisation, etc)

However i dont really ever use IE6 directly,i mostly use MyIE2 (It accesses the IE engine for rendering of pages)

What not switch to the likes of Firefox / Safari / Opera?

IE6 is horrible and totally out of date. I have to put up with it at work.

Dude, get a newer browser like firefox!

We can use Firefox as well as IE6 at work and it does help.

I used to have it on my workaway but it's not there anymore.

We have it in the A to Z section when you go into Windows and it saves me opening to many IE6 browsers, it was better before Citrix as we could customise it as well.

It's no longer there on mine and my main desktop login doesn't have it either.

We were pleasantly surprised when they let us have it even though it is locked down as with IE but still usable enough.
