How can I connect/use PS2 online capabilities if the modem & router R not in my room
I only know so much about the PlayStation 2 Network Adaptor & general online gaming on the PS2, but the actual household Cable Modem & Belkin Router are not situated in my room & because the PS2 is not Wi-Fi & i recieve my Broadband by wireless is there any options available to me, i've read you can connect the PlayStation 2 Network Adapter to an External Network Device such as a digital TV set-top box, if so would it be possible to connect it too my Virgin Media Cable V+HD Set-top box?

Hi, as this is more a networking problem, I've put it in the networking forum.
As for your answer, the cheapest (and best) answer if it is practical is just to run a long Ethernet cable from the router to the PS2. Possibly a more practical, but more expensive option is to buy two Powerline ethernet adapters, connect one to the PS2 and the other to the router.
