Remote control issue

I have recently bought a new philips hifi system, model DCB293/05. However I have a problem where it appears that the remote control for my virgin digibox not only powers on & off the digibox but also the hifi.

Has anybody else ever had a similar problem and what can be done to remedy the problem?

Speak to the Philips' Technical Support department. They may have a firmware update to fix it.
