Blackberry Pearl free phone offer

My SIL is thinking of getting this - costs about Â£20 a month.
Is it a good phone/deal?

The HTC Desire for the extra Â£5 is a much better phone.

Thank you Masque, but he wants a free phone that has 3g for as little monthly cost as poss.
We both agree the Desire is a lovely phone but defeats the object :-)

Even the X8 has 3G on that page and is a lot cheaper again plus it is an Android phone.

My daughter has the HTC Desire from Virgin and it's a really excellent mobile. It's worth the extra Â£5-.
