Delay Playback Pause Cancels
 

Like most people, my wife likes to chat to my daughters and all have free upto 60min calls.

So when they ring the SA V+ box goes on pause and... 20-40 minutes later the pause is cancelled and we miss the program.

Is there a maximum time for the pause?

Is it different:confused: on the Samsung box?

At a guess it's maybe when the Live TV buffer fills up and it can't record anymore?

Press "record" instead if you think you may be a while :)

Also if you are watching in HD the pause will be a lot shorter so do as Digi says above and press the record button.:)

HD is about half an hour for pause. regular TV is a 90min pause

Thanks. We decided to watch a programme the other night while recording it. The dreaded phone call came and when i was over we started to watch the recorded version. After about 10 minutes we had a black screen. This has happened with other recordings recentley and the picture from the SA box also went green on HDMI @1080.

Change to 720 and all is well. Today I changes back to 1080 and it seems OK at the moment.

Jdya think I need a new box (it is also getting noisier).

Why set it to 1080p when VM dont broadcast in 1080p,just leave your settings on 720p

I think they mean 1080i which VM do broadcast in. There isn't even an option to set it to 1080p
