False recording light no picture
 

Strange problem with out SA V+ box,

Have a recording light on but nothing being recorded. If 2 things are set to record or if I manual record 2 things the third recording light comes on and we loose picture. As soon as one the recordings ends we get the picture back.

This explains the problem we have had for a few weeks where we lost picture and had to reset the box, never noticed the false recording light before.

Any ideas or is a new box required. phoned 151 but was told they would escalate to networks (?????) and to wait 24 hours.

This is a software fault that's happens occasionally. Reset your box. After it has restarted, check your planned recordings and series. Delete anything you don't want or any duplicates.

If it keeps happening, a reformat should fix it.
