CCTV Footage

Hello,

I need some advice on an appropriate view for a file with .787 extension.

A friend has been the victim of crime and has cctv footage of the incident, however due to a system crash they dont have the software to view the file.

Ive been given the file on a usb stick and the file has .787 extention and nothing i have seems to play it.

Having tried the manufacturers website Ive had no luck.

Id there a free program that will view it or anything that will allow me to convert it to a more conventional format?

Any help would be appreciated.

According to this page http://www.pcpitstop.com/file-extens...layer/787.html you can download the software but the next page says that Windows Media Player should be able to play it. HTH.

Re: CCTV Footage

VLC plays a lot of obscure CCTV formats. You could try that if nothing else works.
