pause failure

For the last hour or so my V+ would only pause a film for up to 28 minutes 10 seconds - once it had reached that duration it would not pause or reverse. Has anyone experienced this? Anyone any ideas?
Thanks

Yeah the delay TV only goes up to half an hour tops. I paused a film last night and it automatically started playing after 29 minutes. It is meant to do that but is a pain if you want to pause it for longer, but the way round that is to just hit record instead of pausing it :)

I'm sure I've been able to pause things for over an hour in the past, is this a recent change or am I imagining it?

As far as I'm aware you've never been able to pause live TV for more than 30 minutes without recording it. Not sure though

If you have a SA V+, the live TV buffer is a fixed size, so the time you can pause depends on the bit rate. You'll get around 90 minutes on an SD programme, but a little as 20 on HD.

The Samsung V+ buffers around 90 minutes regardless of bit rate, provided you've got enough free space on the hard drive.
