Windows 7 upgrade disk damaged - what can I do?
Hi people,
Basically I have a Vista laptop which I want to upgrade to win 7, the problem being the disk has a small deep scratch on it which makes the installer come up with an error box which says it cannot read any of the files. I have a legit product code however, but I don't really have any ideas how to get round this issue. Can anyone offer any advice? Cheers |

As long as you have a valid license you can install from any media. Can you borrow a friend's copy?

Some limits you should note.. "Don't bother downloading this ISO if you don't have a valid student-only product key. You'll probably be able to install it, but your key won't activate the OS." |
