Weird mesage on my Virgin Moble

I know this is is going to sound absolutely ridiculous but I was walking through Cardiff city centre today when I heard a sound from my Virgin mobile, and when I looked there was a message which said something like "Exchange object for a bottle of wine". This has now happened on two separate occasions and both in the same area. The message disappeared when I clicked on View and is now gone.

Any explanation for this? I did say it was weird:erm:

If your Bluetooth was switched on and in a discoverable state and you come within range of a similar device to the one above it will see you and transmit the advert.

Anyone that has Bluetooth on their phone should either switch it off when not required or set in to none discoverable as some sophisticated devices can steal personal information from your phone.

Good advice Masque.
And also if you don't need it, turn the Blutooth and Wifi off as it will save battery too.
