Initiating Programs in Windows.Old

Hi,

I've recently had to install Windows 7 over an existing Install, and I have now ended up with a Windows.old folder which contains everything I need.

I'm wondering if there is a way I can access the programs within this folder to save me reinstalling each program which is a timely problem.

I have tried to create shortcuts to the programs I want to use, but it wont let me run them from the new Windows.

Does anyone have any Idea's?

Just bite the bullet and reformat it - it may be a 'timely problem' but it's gotta be worth it.

When you have it all as you like it then create a backup image so if / when it all happens again you can just do a quickie reinstall.
