which cable to connect macbook 4.1 to tv screen?
 
its a macbook 4.1 leapard i want to connect to my tv which has a scart socket and it has a (red/white/yellow aux ports)
intel core duo

how old is the laptop if recent then you should have mini hdmi on it so use that as you get the best out of it

its 2 years old. the tv i want to connect it to doesnt have hdmi. its actually for my flat mate..

could i connect a mini-dvi to vga to the laptop.

the vga i could connect to another cable...

scart to vga cable.

what kind of tv is it a flat screen or an old crt. Also which connections has the mac got

if it has a standard dvi i might have a dvi to svideo cable

If its a 2yr old Mac you need a Mini-Display Port (on laptop) to VGA/DVI/SVideo from Apple/whoever.
