Connecting the XBox to HDMI

I have just upgraded my TV to 1080p (LG M2262D) and I have removed the old connection from the 360 which connected via RCA.

I Plug the HDMI cables into the TV and XBox but when I turn them on I get no signal.

Any Ideas?

Try resetting the display settings: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911059/

Sorted, I don't think the HDMIs were fully home.

If youve had your xbox a while, there may have been a build up of dust on the hdmi port on the back, pushing it home a few times has done the trick.

I bet youve noticed a decent increase in picture quality

Most of the time when this happens its the display settings on the xbox ive done it many times where i had to plug the xbox into its original tv and change the settings to something which did not work on that tv unplug and take it to the other tv before it worked.

My LG 22" LCD doesn't work with Xbox HDMI at all...even after having the TV and Xbox replaced on warranties... I put it down to the TV not carrying the HDCP signal. So it had to go downstairs on the 47 incher :)

Oh yes.

Now I have to spend ages doing the fine adjustments on all the features.
