No Broadband for a month...what is going on?
Greetings all
My broadband suddenly went down on Sunday morning....the modem is certainly connected as I have five solid lights but no internet access. On checking the status report over the last few days there have been several updates usually citing estimated repair time as 12 - 24 hours....until last night at around 10 pm the following appeared:- (Copied direct from the status page) "Broadband feature interruptions The following issues may be affecting some aspects of your Virgin Media Broadband service. * You will currently be experiencing a loss of broadband internet service. Our engineers are aware of this issue and are currently working to fix it fast. We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing. Our engineers have advised this fault is taking longer to fix than expected. A new estimated repair time has been confirmed. We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing. o Date Issue raised: November 07 2010, 08:54 o Estimated repair time: December 07 2010, 20:00 o Fault reference: F001426513" 7th DECEMBER !!!! I am in the EN3 area of North London.....how widespread is this outage? Is the 7th December a realistic prediction? If this is what happens with no explanation whatsoever I want out and I want out now. Please can somebody explain if this is an error and if it is when can I expect my connection to be resumed? |

A month?
If that's true, I'd press for a refund on your BB service. |

I want more than a refund.......in this day and age it's disgraceful and they are now talking about a 100mb service....what chance do we have :mad:
