Volume control

Hey, I know you can connect your TV volume control up to your Virgin MEdia remote because thats what mine currently is like.

But can I set up my surround sound system volume up with my Virgin Media volume just like a TV volume?

I think you can only do this if you connect your external sound system through the headphone output. Subsequently, you'll only receive sound in stereo.

If you connect via the audio outputs (red/white connectors), then you'll have to adjust the volume via your external sound system.

I have a SONY TV & Theatre system and the virgin remote controls the volume on the TV when the Theatre system is off and on the Theatre system when it's on. The V+ box is connected via HDMI
