V+ box from other sources
 

Hi friends. got a question to ask and i know im in the best place for a answer. my mother in law has virgin tv vbox (standard pack) and has now been given a V+ Box is is possible just to unpug old unit and plug in V+ box . she did try swapping them over got a message on screen saying do not switch off box as as being updated and yes she did unplug and swap them back. my question is if i swap these back and let this update run will the new box work? how long will update take? and what card do i put into V+ box the one with it or the one from her V box??:confused: Many thanks...

The cards are matched to the box so no go, also the V+ box wasn;t someones to give away as the are rented from VM and not owned by the customer..

The only way to get a V+ box is to order one from VM as they will not even match the card to the one you have
