HD signal loss

Hi all. This is my first post!
I have had HD though a V+ box for some months with no problems.
Now, with increasing frequency, I am momentarily losing signal. The HDMI2 box appears for a second and then normal service resumes. Very irritating.
Is it
the box?
the TV
the HD cable?

Any thoughts?

Ha!
Problem resolved by feeding the HD cable into HDMI1 input instead of HDMI2.

Thanks to Virgin Media telephone Help Line.

Could have been the cable was loose and swapping it to HDMI2 reseated it. there should be no reason why it would not work correctly on HDMI1.

With ANY intermittent fault it is ALWAYS worth checking the cables are properly seated. SCART and HDMI do "creep" over time as there is no "lock" on the plug.

That's the bit I've never understood about these type of cables. Most PC cables are 'locked' either by screw or clip, so why not build in a 'locking device' to SCART and HDMI?
