Security Tool

I have this virus software called Security tool that keeps telling me I have viruses on my laptop. I know this is a rogue/fake software, so can someone please tell me how to delete this annoying virus.

Re: Security Tool

try the following....
perform a system restore to a time before the virus appeared and after that delete all restore points...

The Scan the system using Malwarebytes, spybot search and destroy and also an upto date antivirus.

This will hopefully sort the issue for u.

You will find step by step instructions on this website.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/viru...-security-tool

Read it through, and "Print out these instructions as we may need to close every window that is open later in the fix."

Take your time and follow each step in order..

Ah we have had to sort this one out at work quite a few times.

As Wayfair has said, follow the guide he posted.

You will need to run a file called rkill and try to run it as soon as you get into Windows before the other virus programs manage to startup.

You will find that it reports a lot of viruses and although security tools is one, it doesnt have as many as it reports. It is trying to fool you to download more rogue programs.
It is very annoying though and blocks a lot of things.
