Re: FREEVIEW and FREESAT Thread moved to Freesat/Freeview forum A freesat unit will need a dish and will just connect to your TV via a scart lead (or HDMI if you go for a HD version) |

Re: FREEVIEW and FREESAT Freesat STB's should connect to any modern TV and most older ones. You just have to choose how to connect it. All of the STB's have Scart connectors that provide good quality analogue output. Most should have HDMI (Digital) outputs giving the best quality, with the added option of HD availability if both the Freesat STB and the TV are HD ready. |

Re: FREEVIEW and FREESAT Sorry to be a pain so the STB FREESAT that i buy will fit a modern tv and it will work?? |

Re: FREEVIEW and FREESAT As I said in my first post, if you have SCART (or HDMI for HD) then yes.. When though you say "fit" a modern TV I take it you mean will it connect and display via a modern TV?? |
