Re: Fifth of primaries full or overcrowded, figures show
They're still closing schools here despite the level of immigration of families with children.
The trouble is it all seems to be based on political dogma: when they reopen they reopen as Welsh language schools which (despite what they say) the local population does not appear to "demand". It's "like it or lump it" basically..... |

They rebuilding schools around here, making them bigger. Rushed the plans through or something so the government couldn't take away the funding

Re: Fifth of primaries full or overcrowded, figures show
A secondary super-school opened last September across the road from my apartment, on the same site there is a primary super-school being built now - the buggers woke me up this morning on a precious day off!
These super-schools tend to house a number of previous old schools and are very state of the art. |
