is the new nokia n8 going to be available?

spoke to virgin the samsung wave is not going to be back in stock, their range of phones is not very good at the moment.

The N8 has been penned for release practically every month since around July, the release date has been put back and further back. There are adverts on the TV, coming soon pages on the mobile network's websites etc. But I still haven't seen one in the flesh. A work colleague is out of contract with T-mobile and won't renew as he's waiting for the N*, he had a call from T-Mobile yesterday telling him that he'd have to wait till the end of October.

As far as I know the handset should be available on most networks by the end of October.

I was lucky enough to get to play with the N8 in August and thought it was great.

I'm about 95% decided i'm upgrading to the N8, with the HTC Desire as a backup.
