Yobo's, Burglars laughing there socks off.

The new news that another force is to lose over 1.000 police staff, due to the budget cuts, this is adding to Hampshire and then it will be the Met.

All the yobos and burglars of this land will be licking there lips and loving every minute of these cuts in police services, as they know they won't get caught with less police around.

Crime will go up, And the present time they have crimes in grades, so therefore only the important crimes will be dealt with, if you get mugged in the street, and you need police help, forget it, there won't be any coppers around to nick them.

This government is a disgrace for coming up with such a barmy way of making cuts, so far l can think of three ways of this government can make money with present laws in force, but not enforced.

It was on the news today, and this is not a rant, West Midlands police have stated this.

Everyday in the news you hear of yobos running riot on estates, giving grief to old people that cannot defend themself, it is about time this country realises that crime will increase due to these cutbacks and it will get worse.

Although I don't lean either way politically, I wonder if you'd have made this post if it was Labour still in power. All the posts of this type by you seem to ignore the fact that the Con-Lib coalition in many cases are only carrying out plans that were already made by your beloved Labour party.

Or maybe it may have more to do with the general lack of dicipline when bringing up kids, and the increased knowledge amongst kids/teenagers that human rights laws are on their side.

I don't care what party is in government it could be the wizard party for all l am concerned.

My main concern is that without officers on the beat, crime will sore.

Do you mean soar rather than sore Arthur? There is quite a difference between the two in meaning.

Though I do understand that police cuts are a sore point for you.;)

Arthur's right. there's 2,500 to be gone in the West Midlands. one day we were moaning there's not enough. the next we're moaning about Arthur telling us that there's thousands going :D

IF the cuts are going ahead then it depends where the axe falls.

In some cases the numbers of Police officers and staff could be pruned back without affecting front line policing at all.

Arthur on ignore again, I'm sick & tired of trying to find out if his posts are linked to an actual news report, are just a general uninformed rant, or both :(

This is, presumably, what he is on about

Arthur, Harking back to your days in the Specials, if I may, in "Gangsters" where just before the main refrain you shout "Bernie Rhodes knows, don't argue" what gauge of trousers was Neville Staples wearing at the time?
