Hi i just brought sony bravia2 ex4 40 which ive put in the front room(the 32" weve put in the bedroom),but for some reason i cant get sound on the SONY 40",i got Samsung V+boxHD connecting the tv to the cable and it was working ok.Sooo many things to go wrong, its all right on the analoge all runs perfectly there, but on the digital i cant get any sound in it at all, picture is all right.Is ther any one that's nows the problem with it?

Is it the digital tuner that you can't get sound or is it the V+. How have you got the V+ hooked up, is it by HDMI? If so go into the settings of the V+ and change the setting of the HDMI override from what it is currently set to.

After the 3hrs of messing around i realized i handnt rebooted the box and tv , and do you know what ......................its was right first time DOOOHH ah well ill never learn (im 59 now and my dad was a TV engineer) lol o thanks for all you did anyway cheers
