Flat Cable. Will this work?

Hi there

Looking to extend a cable to a next door room hiding cable under carpet.

Will the below cable work?

Coaxial cable works because it has a uniform shielding equally spaced around it.. Alter the shielding spacing and you will cause problems.. Not saying it will not work.. but with two F plug joiners and the short length of uncharicteristic cable it won't help matters and may cause problems in a poor signal situation

If it's properly designed as a 50 ohm stripline, then it shouldn't introduce too much of a discontinuity, but the question is, is it properly designed?
