VIP Package Question
 

How much is a VIP package and what exactly do you get. ??

Im currently paying just under £70.00 for.

Phone
TV XL with Sky Sports premium and Sky Sports HD add on (No Movies)
10MB Broadband


Would I be better off upgrading as really want to up my broadband.

check this out and the vip pack with 20meg bb is £94.49 and you will need to pay £7 for the sky movies and sports in hd.

But for £96.50 you get the same but with 50meg bb and also the sky sports and movies in hd for no extra charge.

Actually VIP 20 is £91.50 a month - not £94.49

so for a extra £26.00 I will get the Movies and the 50mb added to my account ,do I have to ring or can I upgrade online ??

Yup, that's because you've had it since before April

There was a £2.99 increase for existing VIP customer back then plus the £2 Sky Premium increase from October

Yes just call up and ask about the vip50 ( they should know what you are on about ) also they may try and charge you for the install and activation. so you may need to go through to the retentions department ( as this is what i did and got the install and activation fees waived )

What it says on my new contract for the vip50 is:
£40 manned install ( but credit for that )
£49 hd activation fee on the vhd box ( but credit for that )

Some advisors will try and charge for these or just the hd activation.

Just seen this bit in the small print:

Wireless router for XXL: Wireless router and adapter are included in your package. Equipment remains property of Virgin Media. Existing customers not upgrading their package can buy a Virgin Media Hub for £60 or a Wireless N router for £50.

Prob just need a new modem that would support 50mb as I already have HD installed with sky sports in Hd too

The modem will come as part of the upgrade so you will not get charged for the modem

Hay just out of couristy how much would it be for VIP50 plus keeping my old V box just rathe keep it active sicne it a godo samsung box
