Man Apologises for Urinating in Lift Regularly

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/odd/news...urination.html

A man has left a not apologising to residents of a block of flats for urinating in their lift regularly between 2004 and 2006.

The man, who actually left the block in 2008 posted the note after being overcome with remorse for his actions, and for letting the old man on one of the lower floors take the blame.

I applaud his honesty. I do wonder why he felt the need to own up so many years after he last did it though.

I also wonder why he felt the need to urinate in the lift so near home. I've been on many a night out where I've come back slightly the worse for wear, and I can honestly say if I am that close to home, I'd rather wait until I get home and do my business in the comfort of my own toilet.

Pity he didn't own up when he was living there and not let an innocent man take the blame and probably abuse as well for his actions. We he even felt the need to use a life as a toilet instead of doing it in his own home is beyond me. At least now he has owned up and I hope the man who was getting the blame got a lot of apologies from the people who were blaming him

"the letter read: "Hi. It was me who urinated in the lift between 2004 and 2006.

"I know that there were a few grumpy faces and angry notes and I have a very bad conscience for the elderly man on one of the bottom floors who had to take the blame."

The man signed the note, which was verified as genuine by an acquaintance. He also left his phone number for residents to contact him"

I'm not suggesting this is what happened but If I was the "acquaintance" wouldn't this be a wonderful wheeze to wind up somebody.... provided you know their phone number.

It all smells a bit fishy to me... so to speak. ;)
