How to reset my wireless password
 

i have just installed my virgin broadband and router today. but the only thing confused me is there is no password required when i try to use another laptop to conect the wireless. i remember when i set up the wireless i have already set a password. i tried to change the wireless password. http://192.168.1.1/ this link i found from the forum could not be opened. and the official web said somthing like virgin wireless manager should work, but i dont have it on my loptop. should i download it somewhere? wot should i do to set the password for the wireless now???:(

what router did they send you? are you using a proxy server on your browser as this can block router access

run a command prompt ( win key and r then type cmd) type ipconfig /all

Look for default gateway and thats the access ip to the router

If you have received the new combined wireless modem hub the IP address is 192.168.0.1 and the username is admin and the password is changeme ( these details are actually on the base of the hub ) then go to wireless settings and change the SSID to a name of your choice and a password at the bottom and click apply, and that should be it.
