Tell me this...

Is anyone else's V+ box out of sync with 'real' time by about 4mins. Only noticed now that the nine o'clock news had started, but the time on the virgin menu was 20:56...?

No try rebooting it and it should reset.

Ahh right, cheers.

Sorry to be a bit of a dumbass, but how would i go about that? Will it affect any of the recordings or anything?

Hold down the power button until it says "STOP" (Samsung)
or the reset button if you got a Scientific Atlanta (Chunky box)

It will not affect recordings, unless something is recording when you do the reboot.
Everything will stay on the hard drive :)

Even turning off at the mains will reboot your box.
