XL Broadband without asking?
I have the full range of Virgin Media services.
I just checked my bill and I have been upgraded from 10MB broadband to 20MB without asking and I am being charged £37 just for the broadband less £7 discount for 6 months. I did a speed test and I am indeed on the faster service. I have never requested this upgrade and why is it so expensive when on the Virgin website it states £20 per month for XL broadband. I intend to call customer service but I thought I would seek advice here first in case I am missing something. After all I'm in my late sixties and the old grey matter 'aint what it once was. |
Re: XL Broadband without asking?
£37 is the price before any discounts are given, are you sure no one else in your house hold have requested the upgrade, call them and see whats happened, there should be notes on your account regarding the upgrade.

Re: XL Broadband without asking?
So that reduces the TV, Phone and Broadband to less that the individual prices
Virgin will be able to tell you when the upgrade was done and what notes have been left the agent that did it. |
Re: XL Broadband without asking?
tbh dude if you are paying less net than what you were before I would leave it. 20mbit is a very comfortable tier to be sitting on.

The online prices which do frustrate when you look at your own bill are individual service prices. Once you get into bundles, it goes crazy with overpricing and then discounts.
