Obvious troll is obvious. Maybe the OP just doesn't believe everything he reads on eBay/the internet/in adverts, and wanted some clarification from a source he trusts before he parted with his cash?

No attitude just a simple answer to a simple question-read what is in front of you. Notwithstanding the following

Terms and Conditions of Sale
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item

The answer seems self evident.

Yes i have seen that but have you ever heard that some wire does cause noise on the network and just wanted to be sure as in my years on here there are vm staffs and installers who give tips on such matters.

Re: Extra cabling

The advice is not to use any such cabling as it can cause noise ingress onto the network and it is breach of the Terms and Conditions of your contract.

If you are moving a modem then ethernet is preferable as you can connect up to 100 metres with no detrimental effect to the network.

Or you can pay Virgin Media £99 to have the modem/Set top box moved properly.
