Excel help

I don't do excel - ever.

except for today.

I've got some data - and I want to do cell1*cell2+cell4 and put that in cell5 - across all the rows.

How do I do that?

Taking into account BODMAS(arithmetic presidence), do you want to multiplty cell 1 and cell 2 then add cell 4 to the result, or do you want to multiply cell 1 with the result of cell2 added to cell4?

Assuming the first scenario, click into cell5 and in the formula bar enter "cell1*cell2+cell4" without the quotes, and press click the green tick symbol on the formula bar. Then hover your mouse pointer over the right hand bottom corner off cell5 till the cursor becomes a cross, then left click drag down the column to copy the formula into the other rows.
